Schlüter®-KERDI-200 is a composite waterproofing mat (SPEC/SEPI) made of polyethylene with a fleece coating on both sides. It can be applied under tiled floors or walls and can be used for vertical walls in damp environments.
The KERDI waterproofing range can be used for walk-in showers, kitchens, communal showers, swimming pools (subject to technical recommendation), hammams and fitness centres.

The substrate must be flat and free of any roughness

Carry out any touch-ups before installing Schlüter®-KERDI
-
Apply the adhesive mortar to the substrate with a 3x3 mm or 4x4 mm notched trowel
-
Use the smooth side of the notched trowel or a trowel held at an angle for trowelling

Take care to remove all air from under the board

For rooms with high humidity and steam, Schlüter®-KERDI-DS polyethylene vapour barrier (0.5 mm thick) is recommended due to its high steam resistance.
