The Schlüter®-Ditra 25 waterproofing mat is a waterproofing system under tiles (SPEC). It is also used for decoupling and vapour pressure equalisation.

Made of polyethylene, it decouples the tiled floor from its substrate to prevent the transmission of movements that could cause cracks or the detachment of the covering. It is covered with a non-woven fabric on its underside.

Advice for use:

Use a 3x3 or 4x4 notched spatula
Take care when laying to ensure that air is expelled during installation and that the mat is well anchored
Fill the cavities well with adhesive mortar
When laying over old tiles, any loose tiles must be removed
Removal of the floor is required if more than 10% of the room is loose
For outdoor use: tiles must be laid with C2 thin-bed mortar with double bonding (full-bath installation) and with a joint spacing of at least 10 mm (Schlüter®-DILEX-EKSN) every 4 m
